More detailed than the Fire Awareness Course and covers more subjects. The course material and handouts are used in conjunction with current Workplace Fire Safety Legislation and guidance. Based on AS73745-2010 Planning for emergencies in facilities.

To enable staff with an enhanced fire safety role to meet training requirements as per Fire Safety Regulations and duty of care requirements. Students will gain sufficient knowledge to enable management to rely on commitment in conjunction with well planned  Emergency Procedures under the Emergency Control Organization including operation of Warden Intercommunication Point (WIP.)

By the end of the course participants will:

  • Be aware of Fire Warden duties and their role and responsibilities in relation to Workplace Fire Safety.
  • Preparing for Emergencies.
  • Reporting Emergencies.
  • Reacting safely to Emergencies.
  • Evacuating from endangered areas.
  • Be able to recognize and deal with human behavior in a fire situation.
  • Know how to limit impact of and prevent fire.
  • Recognize Fire Safety features and measures.
  • Know there areas of responsibility and required actions in an Emergency.

Costing can be negotiated for larger groups and Charities.

The Course is designed to be delivered at the customers location, access to a training room is required.

A copy of your Emergency Procedures will need to be provided 1 week prior to training
