Fire EMT offers a new interactive package called I’M Alert, this exciting new initiative will allow employees in Queensland to meet their obligations under the Queensland Building Fire Regulation 2008 in regard to General Evacuation and First Response Fire training.
The package is built around the I’M ALERT character and includes promotional posters that can be used to promote fire safety around the Workplace.
The 40 minute package covers both General and First Response Fire training and can be done by staff online in a convenient time to both the Employer and Employee. A reminder can be set up at specified periods so retraining can be completed ensuring you remain Compliant. Staff complete the package by opening a secure link direct from our Website or you can arrange to place the link onto your intranet. On completion of training a confirmation email and certificate are sent to Fire EMT and a nominated person within your Workplace. The nominated person is then required to ensure staff sign off this certificate and complete the to do items, this ensures they acknowledge receiving the training. Once the Certificate is signed you can keep it on file and send a copy to Fire EMT to ensure records are kept off site as a back up.
By utilizing this system the only on site training required will be Annual Warden, Chief Warden and Evacuation exercises.
